The aim of the Foundation Programme in Sexual Health Promotion is to enhance participants’ capacity to incorporate sexual health promotion into their work through the development of their comfort levels, confidence, knowledge and skills in relation to sexual health.
It is a two-module postgraduate course, accredited at Level 9. Monthly 3 block days (Usually Friday evenings, all day Saturday and all-day Sunday).
Applicants will hold a Level 8 Degree in the helping professions (counselling, psychotherapy, social care, social work, psychology, psych nursing, mental health, addiction etc.). Those who hold a Level 7 Degree in the helping professions, plus appropriate relevant work experience may be eligible to apply under RPL.
