Broader Horizons Partnership: Free summer programme for Wexford young people aged between 18 and 25

Broader Horizons Partnership is running a free personal development summer programme as part of Leader funding for Wexford Local development. The programme ‘Design Your Future’ supports young people aged between 18 - 25 years, to actively engage in planning and taking first steps towards a more socially inclusive future.

We are running two programmes, one for young people living in Wexford town, Rosslare, New Ross & surrounding areas and the other for young people living in Enniscorthy, Gorey and surrounding areas.

The programme aims to support young people in strengthening their personal development and confidence in their own abilities. This will be done by reflecting on their experiences and making plans for their future. The activities we have planned are: team building, outdoor activities, cooking, fashion & beauty, car maintenance, day trips, making videos, etc

This summer programme runs for 8 days & is completely free to participants. The dates for the two groups are as follows:

Wexford/Rosslare/New Ross & surrounding areas. (south Wexford) Group 1

  • Week 1: Mon 11tth to 14th of July 2022
  • Week 2: Mon 18th to 21st of July 2022

ENNISCORTHY/ GOREY & surrounding areas. (North Wexford) Group 2

  • Week 1: Mon 25th to 28th of July 2022
  • Week 2: Tue 2nd to the 5th of Aug 2022

(We will be offering free transport (mini-bus) to activities from selected locations)
