SHEP Reflective Practice: ‘Using the Critical Reflection Model to support our Practice’
For Practitioners in the Community & Voluntary Sector ON-LINE (using Zoom) Commencing February 2021
The COVID19 Crisis has given us all an important opportunity to pause, re-set, re-boot. Few of us want to go back to the same old way of working. Many are motivated to see things with fresh eyes, and to do things differently. This SHEP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme may be of interest to you. It co-creates a safe, facilitated space to critically reflect on your work and to see what the learnings are. It will give you experience in using an important reflective practice method (‘Critical Reflection’) to support your work practice and your own well-being at work.
The aim of the programme is to co-create a space for four groups of approximately ten participants from various sectors to reflect on their prior and current practice experiences. The programme aims to enhance participants’ capacity to engage in the critical reflective process and to enhance their capacity to co-create the conditions for learning from reflecting on practice. The focus of the programme will be on the reflective phase of the experiential learning/action planning cycle.
