Event Management Basics post COVID – Online Course (08/09/2020)
Event Management Basics is designed for staff and volunteers who have little-to-no experience in running events and want to learn about what goes in to making a successful event. Topics covered include: what type of event best suits my needs, and meets my objectives; events in a post-Covid world; an overview of online platforms for running events; promoting your event. Session delivered via Zoom. Fee for non-profits = €70.

Developing a Business Plan – Online Course (15/09/2020)
This course is designed to make business planning accessible to everyone. Anyone with an idea who is interested in turning it into a new venture or social enterprise. Alternatively an existing community, voluntary or charity organisation may need to develop a business plan as part of the development of a new service or a funding application. A business plan is the first step in focusing your ideas, and articulating your vision clearly to people and organisations who can help you along the way. Session delivered via Zoom. Fee for non-profits = €70.

Strategic Planning – Online Course (08/10/2020)
This Strategic Planning online course will guide you through a process of reflection, critical thinking, creativity and prediction. Step-by-step, you will learn what a strategic planning process involves, what tools and techniques can help you along the way, what the end result should look like, and how to get everyone on board. Session delivered via Zoom. Fee for non-profits = €70.

Understanding and Preparing Budgets – Online Course (17/09/2020)
This course will take place on Zoom over 2 sessions and is for anyone involved in the process of budgeting and managing an organisation’s resources. The workshop will encourage participants to relate the principles to their own charity. Fee for non-profits = €70. The course will take place over 2 sessions as per details below:

Introduction to Project Management – Online Course (29/09/2020)
This half-day online course is designed for anyone who leads or contributes to change projects within their organisation. It will help you distinguish projects from operations, it will increase your understanding of the project life cycle, and it will provide you with the basic tools and processes for designing and managing projects effectively. Session delivered via Zoom. Fee for non-profits = €70.

Microsoft Excel – Beyond the Basics – Intermediate Level – Online Course (starting 01/10/2020)
The course will take place on Zoom over 5 sessions. Fee for non-profits = €140. Topics covered are:

Revision of basics: formulas/functions/fixing cells/lists

Suitable for people who are already using Microsoft Word, this course covers some basics but the main focus is on more advanced tools available in this Office Programme. The course will take place on Zoom over 4 sessions as per details below. Homework will be assigned between sessions. Fee for non-profits = €140.
