Saolta: Training of Trainers
This Training of Trainers has been designed for Adult & Community Education (ACE) Practitioners to deepen their understanding of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and to enhance skills in incorporating GCE into professional practice and to be leaders in transformative change.
Irish Aid (2021) defines Global Citizenship Education as:
…a lifelong educational process, which aims to increase public awareness and understanding of the rapidly changing, inter-dependent and unequal world in which we live. By challenging stereotypes and encouraging independent thinking, GCE helps people to critically explore how global justice issues interlink with their everyday lives and how they can act to build a better world.
This Free Training Programme is delivered by Saolta- a GCE strategic partnership programme for the Adult and Community Education sector in Ireland, funded by Irish Aid.
