STEP AHEAD Vocational Service is open for new clients

Here at STEP AHEAD we are delighted to announce that we are now open to accept new referrals and assessments for our free vocational service. Given the current restrictions on face to face contact, the assessment will be partially completed via Zoom until such restrictions are lifted.

Our aim is to commence with the information gathering and cognitive assessment where able. Following this we hope to initiate the individualized therapy supports remotely. Our new clients will be supported with education, advice, therapy strategies and rehabilitative exercises to facilitate their vocational goals.

Once restrictions have been lifted, these clients will be booked in for further face to face assessment. Following this the report can be finalised including the rich information received from ongoing assessments and clinical observations. This process will allow clients to be given a quicker appointment session once services re open fully.

Please see our adjusted referral process below. A few items to note:

  • If you do not have access to printers, STEP AHEAD is more than happy to post out the necessary paperwork to you for completion.
  • Please can referrers support their clients with this process and ensure they post on the paperwork to the STEP AHEAD service. You may wish to include a stamped and addressed envelope to facilitate this efficiently.
