ARC Cancer Support Centres: Torch of Hope
The Torch of Hope is back for 2024!
Proudly Supported by HAYES | SOLICITORS
Our much loved Torch of Hope brings hundreds of people affected by cancer together for an afternoon of fun, reflection, laughter, tears, and great memories. The Torch of Hope takes place around Dublin Bay on Sunday, 13th October 2024. ARC Cancer Support Centres is confident, that with your support, we can together raise vital funds so that we can continue to provide psychological, emotional, practical and educational support to men, women and children affected by cancer and those wo care for them. Because of your generosity and kindness, we can be there for them, for as long as they need us.
The essence of the Torch of Hope is that it gives families, friends and communities an opportunity to support cancer survivors and honour lost loved ones. It is a truly emotive and inspiring event with great fun and comradery.
The ARC Cancer Support Centres’ Torch of Hope gets underway on Sunday, 13th October 2024 with separate groups departing from two locations – 4:00pm from the Wooden Bridge in Dollymount on the Northside, and 3:45pm from Blackrock Park entrance (opposite the Frascati Centre) on the Rock Road on the Southside. Both groups will converge at the Seán O’Casey Bridge over Dublin’s River Liffey at approximately 6.00pm, before a Survivors’ Celebration Lap to the nearby CHQ Building, where the closing ceremony will be held. This will be followed by a fantastic evening of entertainment and refreshments.
