Alcohol Researcher - Community Links Project
Three events will take place in 2023 designed to build connections and collaborations between academic researchers and community activists who have shared interests in addressing alcohol harms.
Two Knowledge Exchange events and a One-day Symposium will take place from February to May 2023, as part of the Alcohol Researcher - Community Links Project.
The project seeks to attract academic researchers in Ireland with an interest in alcohol harms who are keen to learn more about community perspectives on alcohol harms and how they are manifesting and changing on the ground.
Do you know any academic researchers of all stages (postgrads - early career - established) who might be interested in learning more about and exploring possibilities of working with community activists and actors to address alcohol problems and harms?
The first Knowledge Exchange event will take place on Friday 10th Feb in the ATU - Galway, Dublin Road Campus, from 9 -3pm.
See attached flyer. Places are limited so please contact email@example.com to register your interest in attending.
Knowledge Exchange event 2 will take place on Friday 10th March 2023 in ATU Sligo, and a one day Symposium will take place on 12th May 2023 in ATU Donegal, with Prof Tom Babor giving the keynote address.
