Resilience and Renewal
Supporting our front line to deliver better healthcare
Since our last conference, we have had more a year of Covid 19, a time when huge demands have been placed on our healthcare staff and services. They have not been found wanting in demonstrating commitment, adaptability and professionalism. It has also been a time of great learning and a wider awareness of the contribution of our people.
Our conference will look at how staff have responded to this crisis and how we must now respond to their needs for care, compassion and support. It will explore new ways of working and build on the momentum which this seismic shift has enabled. In an altered world, how can we best embrace what we have learned to allow managers and staff to deliver on future services as envisaged by Sláintecare? The pandemic gave permission for the more effective use of technology in the delivery of services. How do managers sustain this shift and build on it? How do we capitalise on the collaborative efforts of the past year to promote integrated care? What are the safeguards we must put in place now to respond more quickly and effectively to future epidemics?
Join the conference on the day to hear our speakers as they consider these and other key questions facing service delivery.
Our speaking panel includes:
- Dr. Jaason Geerts, Director, Research and Leadership Development, Canadian College of Health Leaders and LEADS Canada and Honorary Visiting Fellow, The Business School, University of London (UK)
