Palliative Care Week, 13 to 19 September: ‘Palliative Care - In This Together’
This item has expired, and will soon be unavailable for viewing
The week long campaign aims to raise awareness of the difference palliative care can make to people with a life-limiting illness or condition, to carers and to families throughout the island of Ireland.
Quality of life is improved where all supports for a person with palliative care needs are in place, including the wider community alongside health and social care services. This has been a feature of the outstanding community response to COVID-19. Let’s apply that community spirit by continuing to support those with serious and progressive illness to live well until the end of their lives; ‘Palliative Care: In This Together’.
How to get involved: If you feel you can help raise awareness about palliative care you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request leaflets, posters and social media frames which will be posted to you free of charge or you can download promotional materials: Link
