Addictions 2020: Contemporary Issues Explored

The seminar provides an opportunity for a broad range of Community Workers to update their drug related information and discuss important issues.
Guest speakers include Dr Eamon Keenan, National Clinical Lead for HSE Addictions Services on the topic of ‘Alcohol, Drugs, Self-Harm and Suicide’.
Also, Richie Stafford, Health Promotion and Training Co-ordinator, North Dublin Regional Drug Task Force ‘Effective Drug Prevention: Lessons from the EMCDDA European Prevention Curriculum.
The seminar includes the launch of a media campaign ‘Check your Medicine Cabinet’ campaign along with a pilot Train the Trainer E-Cigarette Initiative.
