The PPI Ignite Network @ University of Galway is a member of the national PPI Ignite Network, providing training and education in public and patient involvement (PPI) in research. PPI means that research is carried out with the people most likely to be impacted by the research results, rather than to, for or about these people. We work with a range of community and charity organisations, researchers, and health care professionals locally and within our university to build the capacity of stakeholders to work together in partnership to conduct impactful research.
