The Belong To LGBTQ+ Summer Project is here poster

The Summer Project will be an opportunity to meet other LGBTQ+ young people, have fun and connect‌

This July and August, Belong To will host a series of events and activities for LGBTQ+ young people from 14-23 years. There will be a range of activities to join from theatre workshops to climate justice sessions - something for everyone!

All events are completely free to attend, and will take place in Dublin City Centre.

All LGBTQ+ young people are welcome, but registration with our youth team is essential.

The summer project has been developed for LGBTQ+ young people to have fun, meet other young LGBTQ+ people and develop skills from theatre to sport.

The summer project will include activities and themes like:

Self-Care Summer – Wellbeing Week (15th – 19th July)

Along with Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, we will explore how young people can proactively mind their mental health and look after their wellbeing in an open and caring way.

Belong to the Team – Sports Week (22nd – 26th July)

Get up, get out and get active with other LGBTQ+ young people! No matter what interests or level a young person has, this week is all about fun, friendship and teamwork.

Climate Justice - Sustainability Week (29th July – 2nd August)

It's our earth, and our community. Together with young LGBTQ+ people, we’re going to explore this theme and develop ways that we can all take action.

Casting All – The Abbey Theatre x Belong To Theatre Week (12th – 16th August)

Belong To is once again partnering with the Abbey Theatre, for the LGBTQ+ Youth Drama Program. Join us for a week of workshops, improvisation, drama skills and scene development, finishing with the participants writing and performing their own original theatre piece.

All young LGBTQ+ young people are welcome to join the Belong To Summer Project to have fun, meet other young LGBTQ+ people. All events will be supervised by our experienced Youth Workers at Belong To. Parental consent to attend is required for those under 18 years.
