The Ark and One Family warmly invite you to a rehearsed reading of Always the Two of Us, a new play for grown-ups by Kate Heffernan that shares real life stories from adults who grew up in one parent families.
What was it like to grow up in a single parent household in the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s? At a time when such families were still something of a rarity, and often regarded by society with a degree of disapproval or even shame? What challenges did they face? And what joys did they find?
This is a ticketed, free event which will take place at The Ark Theatre, 11A Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 on Thursday, 8 June at 6pm.
