SeniorLine is Ireland’s national listening service for older people. Established in 1998, the service received 18,000 calls last year from older people throughout Ireland.

Many callers are lonely or isolated. Serious issues include elder abuse, suicide ideation, bereavement, anxiety, depression and family conflict.
SERVE in Solidarity Ireland, a Cork based not for profit organisation is running their main annual fundraising event in May called the Flip-Flop Appeal to raise vital funds to assist marginalised communities in their partner countries; Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and India.
