The ASI is currently recruiting for both fulltime & part-time Care Workers who will work in our Alzheimer Society of Ireland, South Dublin Home Care. The office is based in South Dublin HomeCare office, Our Lady's Hospice Harold's Cross, D6WRY72.

The successful candidate will work in our assigned family homes in South Dublin and surrounding area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia in the client’s own home. You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative.

To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activates with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.

It is an advantage for candidates to have a full clean driving license and access to a car.

A FETAC level 5 is desirable. Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable.

We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.

The role holder must strictly adhere to all National Guidelines laid out in QSPD guidance and be COVID aware. Training in PPE / Infection Control and other relevant areas will be provided by The ASI prior to the role holder entering a client’s home.
