wishes to recruit a

Community Development Worker within the HSE Traveller Health Unit.

The role will strengthen the capacity of the Traveller Health Unit to co-ordinate/develop health initiatives with regional Traveller projects to target Travellers who are currently under represented in participation in health community initiatives. The role will also involve supporting each Traveller organisation within the Kerry/Cork region in identifying and developing opportunities for Travellers.

The successful candidate will be employed by Kerry Travellers Health & CDP and will be based within the CHO4 region. They will report to the THU Co-ordination.,CHO4. The contract is for 18 months duration.
