Job Title: Community Services Program (CSP) Manager.

RWN CycleUp Textiles is a textile upcycling Social Enterprise within Roscommon Women’s Network (RWN) based in the Riverside Centre, Athleague, Co. Roscommon. We have recently joined the Pobal supported Community Services Program (CSP) and are now looking to recruit a full time manager.

RWN is a Community Development Project supporting women and families throughout County Roscommon, especially the most marginalised.

Overall Responsibilities of the Manager’s Role

The manager will be responsible for the development and oversight of all operations of our CycleUp Textiles Social Enterprise. This position requires a dynamic, empathetic, creative and environmentally conscious individual who can lead and innovate. The manager will coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the social enterprise ensuring it is profitable and operating safely and compliant. The manager will also support the ongoing training & development of staff, volunteers & social enterprise participants. The role also has responsibility for the development, production and marketing of upcycled textiles products for sale, and ensuring the quality and sustainability of our products.

Main duties and responsibilities of the post:

  • Responsible for leading and managing the CycleUp team, including production, administration staff, community employment scheme workers and volunteers.
  • To engage and support marginalised communities, including Traveller women to participate.
  • To manage the growth and development of the enterprise
  • Meeting KPI’s and targets as outlined in the business plan.
  • Marketing and sales
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Fundraising 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant management, community development and/or business administration qualification or equivalent
  • Financial, budget management and administration experience
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Funding application and report writing skills.
  • Experience of engaging and supporting marginalised communities to participate.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Own transport essential.

Starting Salary €37,500 per annum: Hours per week: 37.5
