Position: Service Manager - Community and Outreach

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.00 p.m.

Location: Greater Dublin Region

Sonas Domestic Violence Charity are the largest provider of frontline domestic abuse support services to women and children experiencing domestic violence in Ireland and have been providing this service for 30 years. Sonas services support over 1,250 women and children each year and currently operates across the greater Dublin Region. Sonas provides Refuge, Safe Homes, and Community and Outreach Services for women and children experiencing domestic violence

We are inviting creative, enthusiastic, and motivated applicants to fill the above position and join our team in providing and maintaining the highest standards of service to women and children experiencing domestic violence, making a difference in the lives of survivors, and building safer, more supportive communities for all.

Applicants should hold a third level degree (minimum of Level 7) in Social Care or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience with line management and case management experience. They must have a clear understanding and analysis of social justice, domestic abuse, and other gender-based forms of violence against women and the impacts it has on women and children’s lives. They should have a clear understanding of child protection, welfare, and safety issues, together with strong IT skills. Experience of interagency collaboration with local and voluntary agencies would be an advantage together with experience of working with the Salesforce Database.

In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to work on their own initiative, multi-task and prioritise their workload, along with excellent time management skills including ability to work to tight deadlines as required. A full clean driving license and access to a car is required for this position.

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview. Applicants will be entitled to 26 days annual leave.
