Kellsgrange Residential Care Services provide therapeutic care to children aged 13-17 in a mainstream setting. The company operates centres in County Waterford.

Kellsgrange are currently hiring for the role of Social Care Leader and Social Care Worker. The roles will require a dedication and passion to working therapeutically as part of a multidisciplinary-team with children within a single-occupancy setting.

The criteria for applying includes:

• A Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies or in a relevant field of Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Nursing and Addiction Studies.
• Ideally the Social Care worker applicants will hold at least 18 months experience in working with young people in residential care.
• The Social Care Leader role requires 3+ years in residential care.
• Hold a full clean driving licence.
• The ability to relate to and care for young people who may present with challenging behaviours.
• To be flexible regarding working hours.

If successful, the candidate will be provided with all mandatory training. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period the employee will then acquire a full time permanent role and company benefits.
