CCA Support Worker

1 Full time Post Mallow / North Cork

CDYS, in partnership with Tusla, wish to recruit for a full time CCA Support Worker in Mallow / North Cork, experienced and professional youth, family and social care workers to provide an intensive case management service to young people and their families as part of the Tusla; Creative Community Alternatives project.

We are seeking qualified, experienced, motivated and capable support workers with a flexible, positive and can-do attitude.

The successful candidates will provide intensive one to one intervention with young people and families/carers to prevent young people being placed in residential care and/or to support them to re-enter the community and family environment.

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 3rd Level Degree in youth work / social work / social care or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in youth and/or community services/family support services.
• Demonstrable evidence of case management experience and working creatively in partnership with a range of organisations including Tusla.
• Experience of working in a targeted manner with young people and families.
• Experience of working in a community setting with issues such as alcohol and drug misuse, behavioural challenges, low motivation and low engagement.
• A high level of I.T and Administrative skills
