CROSSCARE Carer-Support Programme
Crosscare Carer Support Programme has been working to support family carers in the North Dublin and County Dublin area for over 15 years. Our aim is to help improve the quality of life of family carers who are often vulnerable and under stress. Our experience informs us that if the carer is supported, not only will the well being of the carer be enhanced but also that the person being cared for may be enabled to stay at home for as long as is possible.
Friends Of The Elderly
Friends Of The Elderly aims to combat loneliness of elderly people by providing friendship, social contact and opportunities for involvement in community activities and helping them become more fully integrated in their own communities.
North Leitrim/West Cavan Carers Group
The North Leitrim West Cavan Carers Group represents members from Manorhamilton, Dowra, Kinlough, Blacklion, and everywhere in between. With the fantastic support of Community Connections and their Carers Programme, we meet regularly to discuss issues important to us, inform each other and share new-found resources, offer each other support, and take occasional breaks from the cares of Caring.
