ICTU (Irish Congress of Trade Union)
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is the only umbrella organisation for trade unions in Ireland representing the interests of almost 700,000 working people, both in the Republic and in Northern Ireland. There are 66 unions affiliated to Congress, 52 unions with 491,164 members in the Republic of Ireland and 33 unions with 198,976 members in Northern Ireland.
IMPACT
IMPACT stands for the Irish Municipal Public and Civil Trade Union, and was formed in 1991 through the amalgamation of three unions, all with long traditions in the trade union movement; the Local Government and Public Services Union, the Union of Professional and Technical Civil Servants, and the Irish Municipal Employees' Trade Union.

The Trust was established for educational purposes to raise funds to provide educational scholarships/bursaries to support and fund postgraduate research in the field of Industrial Relations.

National Qualifications Authority of Ireland
The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland is the Irish centre for the recognition of international qualifications, known at Qualifications Recognition - Ireland. The Authority represents Ireland in a European Network of centres known as ENIC/NARIC (European National Information Centre/National Academic Recognition Information Centre) and NRP (National Reference Point) which promote the recognition of international qualifications throughout Europe and further afield.
