Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) is a national membership organisation that aims to enable older people to lead a full, happy and healthy life through a range of opportunities organised by local older people themselves through local Active Retirement Associations.

Alone
ALONE was founded in 1977 by a Dublin fireman, Willie Bermingham. In the course of his work Willie frequently came across abandoned and neglected old people living in squalid conditions. He was so outraged by the incident of an old man crawling in to a packing case to die on his own that he set up the ALONE organisation.

Dementia Services Information and Development Centre
Our mission is to promote excellence in all aspects of dementia care in Ireland. To this end the Centre aims to promote an awareness of dementia, establish and maintain a database on dementia services in Ireland, provide education and training to practitioners working in the field and conduct and support local and international research and evaluation.

Energy Action Ltd is an Irish Registered Charity established in 1988, with the core objective of alleviating fuel poverty in Dublin by provision of insulation in the homes of older people.
