LYCS: Temporary Childcare Manager

 LYCS is a community development organisation, which operates through four programmes of work: Community Training Centre, Adult Education, Youth & Childcare Programmes.  LYCS’s childcare centre currently offers full-time/sessional childcare and an afterschools programme. We are currently looking for a Temporary Childcare Manager (Full time)

Your role will be to manage the day-to-day operation of running LYCS’s crèche which caters for children aged 1-7 years.  This will include supervising staff whilst working with the crèche team to deliver a programme of activity and to promote and develop good childcare practice.  A formal childcare qualification at FETAC Level 6 and previous childcare experience is essential.
