Space54 – Workshop Arts Centre Seeks Volunteers

Space 54 is a Workshop Arts Centre formed to provide a place for education, performance, exhibition and discussion, open to people of all ages, in Dublin City Centre..
 

Space54 is used for a wide range of activities, facilitating and supporting the Arts. It is our vision that we will help stimulate people to engage with community activities in the city. Events will occur in the space providing people with the opportunity to promote their work and interests. The events will also give people the opportunity to perform some of the skills they have learnt from workshops run in Space54.  These events will range from art exhibitions, performance, film viewings, etc.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to get an insight and hands-on involvement in the running of a rapidly growing Workshop Arts Centre. Volunteers will have the opportunity to manage their own projects. Duties may include PR & marketing, Event Management and general administrative support.

We are therefore interested in working with:
 

•   Art graduates (music, visual art, film, dance, literature, theatre, architecture etc.)
•   PR & Marketing graduates
•   Event Management graduates

There may also be an opportunity to develop a personal project to your own interest that will be of benefit to the growth of Space54.

Launch Event on Friday 5th February, starting 6pm with a range of performances over the night including a showcase from the Gaiety School of Acting and guest appearance by the Lord Mayor. All Welcome.
