About URRÚS
URRÚS (Irish for “strength” or “confidence”) was founded in 1996, by the Ballymun Youth Action Project, to provide training in relation to drug misuse.
The training provided includes:-
- Community Addiction Studies Course©;
- Training for Trainers
- Drug Information & Awareness
- Process of Addiction
- Addiction & the Family
- Specially designed training packages tailored to the needs of particular groups/agencies
- Motivational Interviewing
- Drug Awareness In formation Day - 14th January OR 3rd March - 10:00am-4:30pm
- Introduction to Addiction Studies - 28th Jan. & 4th Feb. (2days) - 10:00am-4:45pm OR 14th, 21st, 28th Apr. & 5th May (4 sessions) - 10:00-1:00pm
- Homelessness and Drugs - 15th January - 10:00am-1:00pm
- Crack Cocaine & Methamphetamine/Crystal Meth - 19th January - 10:00am-4:30pm
- Crack Cocaine - 11th February - 10:00am-1:00pm
- Working with Drug Using Parents - 25th March 2010 - 10:00am-4:30pm
