Children's Rights Alliance
Who We Are
Founded in 1995, the Children’s Rights Alliance unites over 100 members working together to make Ireland one of the best places in the world to be a child.
What We Do
We change the lives of all children in Ireland by making sure that their rights are respected and protected in our laws, policies and services. We identify problems for children. We develop solutions. We educate and provide information on children's rights.
Children's Rights in Partnership
We are one of the 17 organisations that make up the Community and Voluntary Pillar of Social Partnership. Alongside the National Youth Council of Ireland, we represent the Children and Youth sector. We are also represented on the Advisory Council for the implementation of Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures, the National Policy Framework for Children and Young People 2014-2020. We are also a member of the Children’s Mental Health Coalition/Mental Health Reform, the Eurochild network, Action for Separated Children in Ireland, the Saving Childhood Ryan Group and the Wheel. We work with our partners throughout our work, hosting working groups, panel sessions and briefings as relevant.
