Malahide Castle & Gardens are holding an event called Medieval Mayhem in Malahide on Saturday 22 June and Sunday 23 June in the Park close to the entrance by the old McAllister’s Garage. The idea of this event if to demonstrate how families lived hundreds of years ago, experience a medieval battle through the daily battle re-enactments, witness how women and children cooked and made crafts, watch the falconry and archery displays and much more! The event is a non-alcohol family friendly day.
We are holding a road safety protest cycle in Cork on Saturday 22nd June from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. The protest is unique in that many of the riders cycle naked to emphasise their vulnerability on the roads. For legal reasons we require our stewards to be clothed. They cycle just ahead of the ride, warning oncoming people that naked people are coming, in case anybody is offended by nudity.
