Alzheimer Society of Ireland: Administration Officer (Part-Time)

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers.

We are recruiting an Administration Officer to be based in Carlow who will report to the Operations Manager. This post will be a permanent position, 3 day week -Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday  9am – 5pm.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administration Officer is responsible for leading and enhancing all aspects of the administration processes across the Operations Area by maximizing administration efficiency to allow operations staff to provide the best quality of service to clients living with dementia and their families.

To be successful in this role you will need experience of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Previous experience in a busy office environment and financial experience is essential. You will have experience in ECDL – European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.

You will need good excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.  Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Be conscientious and have a proactive approach to work. Have the ability to understand and respect the need for confidentiality. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Salary will be up to €15,385 pa dependent on relevant experience.
