Women’s Support Worker
Sonas provides refuge, support and housing to women and children experiencing domestic violence across the greater Dublin region and Wicklow. We support hundreds of women every year to change their lives and the lives of their children. Helping to make this change happen is core to who we are and what we do.

Sonas is looking for a Women’s Support Worker to work with women and children in our services. As part of the Women’s Support and Children’s Support services team, the Women’s Support Worker will work to ensure a holistic and integrated service is offered to families availing of our service.
We will also be forming a panel of candidates for future similar roles.
Job Title: Women’s Support Worker
To provide services to support women and their children who are in Sonas’ services, on a one-to-one basis and in families. To work directly with clients in their home, in a Sonas service location, or in the community to;
- Ensure best practice in the delivery of services to women and children in the service
- Ensure the needs of service users are central to the work of the service
Job Terms and Conditions:
€33,367 – €36,103 per annum, depending on experience
Full time – 5 days per week, 40 hours
One year whole time contract, renewal subject to funding
26 days annual leave
Reports to: Service Manager
Location: Sonas works in locations across Dublin region
- You will need to have your own transport and be available to travel to all Sonas locations
