Following a request from the Office of the Minister for Drugs that LDTF’s assess projects funded through them ensuring that they:
- are drugs targeted and evidence-based;
- can show tangible outputs and outcomes;
- address current gaps and local needs in their areas; and
- demonstrate clear links with the priorities as set out in the NDS 2009-2016
Women’s Aid Organisational Review: Invitation to Tender
Women’s Aid has been working to address the issue of domestic violence in Ireland for more than 30 years. In this time, the organisation has built up a huge body of experience and expertise on the issue which enables us to share this knowledge with other agencies responding to women experiencing domestic violence. Women’s Aid is embarking on a two-strand strategic development process: one part of which is ongoing work on the current strategic plan and the second part, the subject of this invitation to tender, is a review of its organisational structure.
Leighlin Parish: Invites tenders for a needs analysis
Leighlin Parish Council was founded in 1980. It is made up of representatives of the different areas of Leighlin Parish, Co Carlow. (Leighlinbridge, Old Leighlin, Ballinbranna and surrounding areas). Its aim is to further the development of the community through improving services and resources for people living in the Parish. An example of some of its main projects have been to build a Parish Centre, which has become the key area used within the parish, to build a childcare centre and restoration of its churches. The overall aim of the research is to determine the needs of Leighlin Parish and to identify way to improve the life of Parishioners.

Midland Regional Drugs Task Force Request for Tender for Evaluation and Roadmap Consultancy Assignment
The Midland Regional Drugs Task Force (MRDTF) is one of ten Regional Drugs Task Forces in Ireland that was set up in 2003, on foot of recommendations from the National Drugs Strategy (NDS), to facilitate a more effective response to the drugs problems in areas experiencing the highest levels of substance misuse. The Midland area includes Longford, Westmeath, Laois and Offaly. The MRDTF website is mrdtf.ie. The MRDTF wish to engage a Consultant/firm of Consultants to evaluate current activity funded through the Task Force, and to develop a roadmap for future targeted funding over the next 3 years in correspondence with the identified pillars of the Interim National Drugs Strategy 2009-2016 and in relation to potential reorientation of services.
