The Activelink Web Exchange is coming soon! This new service will enable non-profit organisations to develop a top-notch Web presence at low cost... freeing up vital funds for use for their core objectives.
What will my organisation need to make use of the Activelink Web Exchange?
You will need to be a not-for-profit organisation with a person or team who is willing to work on developing your Web site. You will also require a suitable web-hosting account.
When will the Activelink Web Exchange be available?
We are presently working on three Web Exchange projects and we will open up to the public when these are completed.
How can I get started?
Your organisation will need an Internet domain name. If you do not have one already, and you are a Revenue-authorised Irish charity (must have a valid CHY number), we can register a .IE domain name for you completely free of charge, thanks to the open-minded policy of the IE Domain Registry - please email hostmaster@hyperlink.ie to get started, and note that we will require a signed authorisation on official paperwork to act on your behalf. You should check that the name that you are seeking is available before you begin: http://www.domainregistry.ie/index.php/mnudomregs/mnudnssearch
