Founded in 1987 Filmbase is a support organization for the independent film and video sector in Ireland.
Filmbase fulfills this role by facilitating Training & Development; Facilities Hire, Information Services; Representation and Lobbying for the low budget film sector.
Filmbase also publishes Film Ireland magazine and the Ireland on Screeen directory. We also a number of Short Film Award schemes.
