ANVIL Ireland is a lobby group formed to harness people power to bring about legislation change in the area of anumal welfare. Ireland has outdated and ill applied animal welfare legislation and powerful lobby groups of those who profit from the current situation frequently defeats attempts to pass new animal legislation.

ANVIL gives ordinary individuals a chance to make their voices heard, register their support for animal issues and demonstrate to T.D.s and other elected representatives that animal issues are vote grabbers.

As well as lobbying, ANVIL is carrying out original research, creating legislation proposals and building a network of like minded individuals.
