The Irish Cancer Society's biggest National Flag Day Daffodil Day is taking place on Friday 26th March.
We are looking for volunteers to join our bunch and take part in this special day for even an hour or two.

RNLI and All About Eve, a designer vintage clothes shop, have joined up for this exciting event. Bring your pre-loved clothes and accessories and swap for new treasures or check out the designer bargains from All About Eve. Cocktails start at 7 and swapping begins at 8.
Rehab fundraising walk in Vietnam (October 2010)
Rehab is looking for volunteers of all fitness levels to join a walking tour of Vietnam in October 2010.
You'll enjoy a trek through this historic and stunning land while, in the process, helping to raise funds for services for people with disabilities in communities around the country. The 11-day walking tour encompasses a guided tour of Hanoi City and a trek to Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai and Ta Phin villages where you can get to meet local hill tribes and hear about their daily lives and traditions.

Threshold: Comedy Fundraiser
Threshold is a registered housing assistance charity which aids people in need of housing advice throughout the country, through its call services and offices in Cork, Galway and Dublin. We currently help approximately 10,000 people a year in housing difficulties over the phone and have over 10,000 visitors a month to our website. We are organizing a comedy night fundraiser in The Twisted Pepper, Middle Abbey Street. We have some of Irelands top comedians performing including Dave McSavage and John Lynn. The night Kicks off at 8p.m. and tickets are €15.

Become a Big Sister for a day and run the 1st ever West of Ireland Women's Mini Marathon in Aid of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ireland.
BBBS Ireland is a youth mentoring programme run by Foróige in Ireland. We aim to make a positive difference in the lives of young people through a professionally supported one to one relationship with a caring older volunteer. The volunteers, as Big Brothers or Big Sisters are friends, mentors and positive role models who assist these young people in achieving their unique potential.
Mayo Rape Crisis Centre: Women's Mini Marathon
Do you want to be one of the first women who run in the West of Ireland Women’s Mini Marathon on Sunday the 2nd of May right here in Castlebar?
