Children’s Grief Centre Limerick: Voluntary Support Workers with Young People and Children

The Children’s Grief Centre is a support service for school-aged children and young people affected by loss through death, separation or divorce. The Children’s Grief Centre is recruiting for new volunteer positions to work therapeutically with young people and children affected by loss. We are interested in hearing from people with play therapy, art therapy and/or a counselling background who have experience working therapeutically with young people and would like to avail of joining the team in the Grief Centre.

These positions require a long-term commitment of a year and the Grief Centre requests at least three hours contact a week. In return, the Grief Centre provides training, monthly supervision with a qualified supervisor and regular case-work management.
