QQI Accredited Environmental Youth Employability programme, starting July 10th 2017
ECO-UNESCO is offering free accredited Youth Employability training for young people (aged 16-26) to gain the skills and experience to enhance their employability.
What will you gain from completing this course?
This course aims to provide young people with the skills, experience and support they need to progress onto paid employment, further education or training.
The programmes includes:
- QQI Level 3 in Eco-Community Development
- A valuable 5 week work placement
- One-to-one mentoring
- Guidance and advice on preparing for interviews
- Outdoor education including field trips
- Ongoing support towards education, training and employment
Course start and duration: The course starts on Monday July 10th 2017 and runs 4 days per week for a total of 10 weeks.
Who should complete this programme?
The course is open to any young person currently not in training, employment or education. Past participants are from a wide range of backgrounds including young people engaged with the probation service, LGBTQAI+, single parents, members of the travelling community, those looking at returning to education, and more.
