Despite a reduction in numbers affected in Ireland, sadly 200-250 families are still affected by the disease every year. For new generations of parents to infants, and to teenagers starting university, the most at risk groups, MRF’s commitment to continued awareness raising and funding high impact, need-informed research means the difference between life and death. The charity depends on the generosity of the local community to sustain its vital work and taking part in this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin Half Marathon is one brilliant way that you can get support this worthy cause.
