The Vision Walk, 2017 October 10 – 16
You’re invited to join walkers from all over the world to discover the unknown sides of Marbella during The Vision Walk this October in support of Fighting Blindness.
The Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo near the historic city centre will be the starting point for the 20 and 30 km routes which will lead you through the city, nature trails, hills and along the beach.
The last day of walking (15 October) will bring you through the Via Gladiolo (gladiolus being the Roman symbol for victory) back to the Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo where you will be warmly greeted by the welcoming team!
10 – 11 October
Depart from Dublin, Cork or Belfast to Malaga (direct flight)
Transfers on arrival by private coach to Marbella.
First class accomodation b/b twin sharing for 6 nights.
Registration for walks at the Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo.
12 – 15 October:
The walks are through the city, countryside, nature trails and along the beach starting each day between 9-9.30am, finishing around 16.30pm daily. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the old city, the charm of the countryside – a time to make new friends among the hundreds of walkers taking part.
The last day of walking followed by a gala dinner that evening.
Return transfers to the airport for direct flights back to Dublin, Cork, Belfast.
The price of the trip is €200 deposit plus €1,600 (totalling €1,800) which covers your donation to Fighting Blindness, return flights to Malaga, a 15kg checked bag, transfers to and from Malaga airport, 6 nights accommodation bed & breakfast, twin sharing, gala dinner on last night and Marbella Walk registration fees.
