Doctors of the Displaced: Medical Treatment on the Move
War, oppression and poverty continue to displace millions of people worldwide.
While some attempt to reach Europe by treacherous journeys, many more remain displaced closer to their homes.
Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders will hold a free event at the Little Museum of Dublin discussing medical treatment for displaced people and those on the move.
MSF Ireland field staff Dr Conor Kenny (search and rescue) and Dr Mark Sherlock (TB/HIV – Somali refugees) will speak about their experiences caring for the medical needs of displaced people; both on land and at sea on the night.
Join us at the The Little Museum of Dublin, 15 St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2 on Wednesday 05 July, 2017
Reception: 6:00pm for a 6.30pm start.
