Registration for The Wheel’s National Conference for Community, Voluntary and Charitable Organisations will close at noon on Monday, 26 June. The conference, which is the biggest annual gathering of Ireland’s nonprofit sector, takes place on Wednesday, 28 June at Croke Park.
This year’s conference will tackle a number of pressing issues, including:
- Government’s national strategy for the community and voluntary sector (which is currently being developed)
- Regulation and Transparency: have done enough to maintain public trust?
The conference will be chaired by veteran broadcaster Charlie Bird, and feature inputs from 16 top speakers including David Hall, John Farrelly (CEO of the Charity Regulator), Sarah Keane (President Olympic Council of Ireland), Karl Wilding (National Council for Voluntary Organisations NCVO UK) and Siobhán O’ Donoghue (Director and Founder of UPLIFT) and many more.
Thirty masterclasses covering a variety of topics including Governance, Fundraising, Communications, Data Protection and HR will run in parallel with the conference, and the EXPO will showcase the latest products and services available to community and voluntary organisations.
Anyone with an interest in the community, voluntary or charity sector is welcome to attend.
Register before Monday at noon, and you can bring three colleagues to attend the 30 masterclasses FREE OF CHARGE.
But hurry, registration is closing soon!
