The Social Policy Network is a forum for people working in voluntary or statutory organisations whose work includes a social policy interest or policy remit.
The next meeting is on Wednesday 26 April 2017, from 10.30-12.30 at Inclusion Ireland, Unit C2 The Steelworks, Foley St, Dublin 1. If you would like to attend, please register by 5pm on Friday 21 April (see attached registration form).
Members will outline and share recent social policy work in their organisation and there will be a presentation by the Irish Social Sciences Data Archive at UCD on the data the archive holds and its use for social policy.
The role of the Network is to:
- To provide a forum for an exchange of information
- To share experience/expertise of "what works in influencing public policy"
- To hear how other agencies/organisations approach their policy brief
The Network meets quarterly.

The template is for each organisation to fill in, outlining recent social policy activities in their organisation. Please fill this in and bring it with you to the meeting so that you can share and talk through the key work taking place in your organisation. You can also email it to the above contact, and it can be disseminated prior to the meeting.
