Merchants Quay Ireland: Outreach Worker Post
Merchants Quay Ireland (MQI) is currently running a Community Harm Reduction Service in the Midlands area. The overall aim of this service is to reduce the levels of public and individual harm and public health risk caused by drug use in the targeted local areas and to increase access to services for drug users not in contact with any service. The post holders will work closely with local community, voluntary and statutory groups and will play a key role in responding to emerging needs in the area. The office base for both posts is Athlone Town.
