Fatima Regeneration Board: Weekend Caretaker (1 Part-time)
The role of the Weekend Caretaker is to be on duty at weekends when the Centre is in use, opening up, liaising with end users and the general public as appropriate. The Caretaker will also undertake cleaning and general caretaking duties in the F2 Centre and all external areas in the Fatima / Herberton Scheme. The role is part-time (19.5 hours) per week, mainly at weekends.
Business in the Community Ireland: Training and Employment Officer
Business in the Community Ireland in conjunction with the Irish Prison Service have since 2007, successfully developed a partnership to provide prisoners with a dedicated service. The demand for the service has been growing and therefore a new post is being created to help meet with that demand. The primary role of the Training and Employment Officer will be to work in prison with offenders that are ‘Job Ready’ and to provide them with career guidance. It will also be the role of the TEO to place them, on release, in training, education and employment appropriate to their needs. The duration of the post will, initially, be for one year.
Henrietta Adult and Community Education Service: Information / Communications Worker - Part Time
The role of the Information Worker is to gather and maintain information on the HACE Service and its participants, carry out communication with participants and other stakeholders in the community. Limerick-City Care and Repair Project: Project Development Worker (Part-time)
A Project Development Worker is required to develop a clear project model of a Care and Repair Service for Limerick City. Care and Repair is a programme developed by Age Action to provide minor home repairs and maintenance to older people using volunteers. This project is organised by a group of agencies in Limerick City with PAUL Partnership as the lead agency and St Munchins Family Resource Centre as the employer. The position will be based at St. Munchins Family Resource Centre which has an established maintenance service for Older People.

Cherry Orchard Community Childcare Centre: Childcare Supervisor and Childcare Practitioner
Cherry Orchard Community Childcare Centre wishes to recruit a Supervisor and Childcare Practitioner to commence in April 2010.
(Ref 1)The Childcare Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring high quality and best practice standards in the Centre and will work closely with the Manager to ensure the delivery of a quality educational childcare service. The Supervisor will be required to plan and implement age appropriate programme or activities underpinned by the High/Scope philosophy.
(Ref 2.) A Childcare Practitioner will be required to observe, guide and stimulate children (including after-schools). Previous experience of working with children in the 0-6 years is essential and experience in working with school-aged children is desirable.
